Rising London artist Eaves Wilder has dropped her eagerly awaited debut EP, Hookey, alongside the fantastic new single, ‘Connect The Rooms’. The empowering message of the track describes the nineteen-year-old finding comfort in her voice and urging others to do the same: “All my life I’ve felt like I've been told off over and over again for being too noisy. For playing my instruments too hard, just being too much. This song is me deciding not to internalise any of that any more, but to do what makes me happy.” It’s a tender, emotional track that blends jangling guitars with her distinctive high voice. The EP, Hookey, is a four-track EP that delves into Wilder’s time at school: bunking off to learn instruments in the music room and mixing demos under her desk in sixth form. -Dan Peeke
